I volunteered for 2 weeks between the hostel and Nica Bliss. I worked 2pm–10pm or 10pm–6am, 4 days a week, with 3 days off. Tasks were reception-based and easy, though Spanish would help a lot. I worked 1 week in each hotel, which was a nice change. Both were comfortable with clear expectations. Managua is quite laid-back, so during slow shifts I had to find ways to stay busy. Overall, a good experience if you want light work and a flexible schedule. Thank you very much, Allen and your wonderful team!

It was a short but pleasant experience. I met Allen and their team. I was asked for some advice on improvements for the hostel, and Allen came across as open to new opinions (great). The hours of activities are 8 with several shifts (afternoon or night). Three days off and they put you in a small two-person room. Excellent Wi-Fi connection for working. The location is excellent because it's near the bus stop. During your 8 hours you can easily work on the computer at the desk during the downtime between activities. Thanks for everything :)

Nica Bliss is a lovely and peaceful hotel. They have a canvas pool, ideal for the heat of Managua. The tasks are truly simple, and the agreed times are respected. It is possible to do different activities, if you want or need, since they also have another hotel called the hostel, where we sometimes alternate the activities and the shifts. Allen is a good person and is willing to help you with whatever you need; he is a good friend. The majority of the team are kind and friendly people. If you pass through Managua, it's a good option ✨.
