Qué xopáaa. Woww. lovely pure energy i felt working alongside Alex in his beautiful property in Isla Carenero. Once you know the host is wonderful, you know it's gonna be a beautiful work experience :) I did different tasks each day which included: Helping in the green house, deep cleaning rooms after guests leave, painting, and I created a vid for his company. One thing about Alex, HE GONNA COOK! 🤌🏽 his food is fireeeee and provided meals daily for me and another girl I was working with. Volunteering at the surf camp is a dream for every surf enthusiast. Alex himself is a passionate surfer and brought us along to surf every day. We were 4 volunteers in the beginning and than later just me and another girl. We would mainly do painting and redecoration jobs and I also helped with some digital marketing stuff. Alex appreciates proactiveness and own ideas. This position is not for people who need a clear day-to-day and shift plan, as we tackled most days spontaneously. Alex has a big heart (for his animals and people) and is a very generous host.

The location is paradise: if you love untouched nature, peaceful surroundings and a slower pace of life, this tiny island is perfect. Our typical day was: surf at sunrise, share meals together (Alex cooks amazing food with fresh local ingredients), work on projects around the house and explore the stunning archipelago. Alex truly makes this experience special: he is one of the kindest and most generous people I've ever met, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Thank you, can't wait to come back!!!

The surf camp experience was incredible, the people are super friendly, you can connect with them and learn a bit about their culture, the place is beautiful, nature and the daily views are motivating, without a doubt I would recommend this place to volunteer.
