Actually, the work is the last thing you should worry about. It can be tiring sometimes but it usually doesn't take too long, leaving you plenty of free time to enjoy the rest of your day.
Sharing a room with the other volunteers is an amazing experience. Rather than feeling crowded, it feels like living with a family. You share your belongings, prepare together to go out, and of course gossip at midnight :D

Bene, Rafa, Gonza and Marina were so friendly and accommodating, and the friendships I formed with the other volunteers was so special. I am so grateful for my time here and The Hague is such a great base for travelling.

My time volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! I loved living and working with people from all over the world. We cooked together, went on trips, had movie nights and nights out, and created unforgettable memories. The work was easy, well organized, and the relaxed hours gave me plenty of time to explore The Hague and the Netherlands. The team was very flexible with my schedule as long as I communicated my plans in advance. I made wonderful friendships and would highly recommend volunteering here! The affordable bike rentals were also perfect for trips to the beach. 💗

I met wonderful people from all over the world and made friendships that will last a lifetime. If I could go back in time and had to choose again, I would choose this hostel over and over again. Volunteering at the hostel was the best decision I've ever made. From the day I arrived, I felt a sense of belonging among the people. The managers were very considerate of the volunteers' wellbeing and time. The working hours were light and I had plenty of time to explore different cities. The work itself was easily manageable that followed a systematic flow. By the end, I really enjoyed making beds. The hostel was social yet relaxed, with a perfectly clean environment. I absolutely loved spending time with the other volunteers and we built remarkable memories together.

My experience at the hostel has been amazing. I stayed for 8 weeks and I wouldn't mind staying longer! I've learned a lot from housekeeping, being a night guard and communication within different cultures and backgrounds. The volunteers are amazing people, always up to help each other out and doing things together after working hours. Management are great too they're always there to listen to your needs and flexible with your schedule too if tell in advance. I also learned a lot about Den Haag and NL overall. It was my first time volunteering and I loved it so much! The work is easy and we often finish early so we had a lot of time for other activities aswell. I had the best time hanging out with the other volunteers and it felt like having a big sleepover with your friends, which made it feel like a second home :) The days off are perfect for daytrips. I have to say it was annoying that we couldn't do our laundry at the hostel and had to go somewhere else, but otherwise it was verry chill :) I can only recommend it and I'll never forget this amazing experience!

I had such an amazing time at the hostel! 🦩💗 Everything was absolutely wonderful and I'm leaving with so many unforgettable memories and special moments The location is honestly perfect with the train station right in front of the hostel making it so easy to explore nearby cities, small towns, and even other countries. It was such a convenient base for traveling around! I'm so grateful for all the people I met and the experiences I had here! the hostel truly felt like a home away from home. And I'm already hoping to come back someday😊 Thank you so much for everything!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The staff at the hostel were very kind and welcoming to volunteers and gave training to the new volunteers in a thoughtful way. The other volunteers were great and it was a fantastic place to make friends with your fellow volunteers. I would recommend this hostel to other travellers!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! It was my first volunteering experience, and I met so many amazing people from around the world. The staff is super welcoming, the work is easy and fair, and we were never asked to work more than agreed upon. The hostel is also in a great central location with lots to do nearby.
