Pros: I met some AMAZING people here, truly the other volunteers were so lovely :) It was a nice hostel (minus the dorms) on the beach & the pool was nice, yoga classes a good plus too! Cons: the volunteer dorm I started in was honestly unacceptable, 4 beds pushed together with no space so most of my clothes were on my bed which was really unfortunate when TWICE the air conditioner leaked buckets of water onto my bed (& my things) Housing is the ONLY thing provided for volunteering and the fact there was water soaking the floor and my bed and black mold on the walls? Not ok :( Xx

The hostel is beautiful, right in front of the beach, but I went in the off-season, and the management was a bit neglected. You can tell that the place is really cool, but I believe I didn't get the best version of the hostel. That said, I had a lot of fun during my days there, made friends and was happy. The vibe is good, and they are quite flexible, but they need some structural improvements; if you go, go with an open mind :)

Volunteering experience was very positive. The tasks turned out to be easy to perform, the schedule was well organized and the staff always showed kindness. I enjoyed the sea, the sunsets and the opportunity to share with other volunteers. In addition, I was able to practice my English and disconnect from the pace of the city, which I loved.

My rating is 4/5, as I believe that the dormitories and the shower area could improve to offer a safer and cleaner environment.
