I had the most amazing time here! I initially planned to only stay one week and extended to almost three months! Having a shared apartment was such a safe comfortable environment. The work itself was more fun than it was work! The students are amazing and our host Mrs. Hien was so accommodating. She introduced me to pickleball, workout classes, and bike routes. We had so much fun together she was kind enough to invite me on a family trip up to the north of Vietnam! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! Do yourself a favor and volunteer here trust me!

It was a pleasure doing my first volunteering with Ms. Hien and her incredible team at Riverside! Everyone is welcoming and kind, you truly feel at home from the start :) I learned loads and loved being included in many activities that created deep, meaningful shared moments, which I appreciated the most ❤️ The teaching is well prepared, and the kids learn through games, exercises, reading, and even chess! A special mention to all the amazing ladies, we shared such beautiful moments over hot pot or coffee. Overall, an amazing experience that I highly recommend, even just for a visit!

The staff was great and friendly, and they make you feel like at home. You get to try local food and restaurants and really experience Vietnamese culture. The students are also very friendly and like sharing their culture. I highly recommend this place to any traveler looking for the local experience. You also get to meet other travelers from other parts of the world.

I had a great time at the education center. Hien and her husband are very kind and supportive and give you a good insight into vietnamese local life. The students and children are friendly and happy to learn english. The work is simple and doesn't really feel like work, as it's mainly about talking and connecting with them. They provide an apartment next to the center, which is very convenient. The vin apartment complex has everything you need, and the bus station is close by. Places like the Old quarter are easy to reach. I'm grateful for this experience and can definitely recommend it!

I had a nice experience here! I met kind and interesting people from different countries. The students were funny and energetic;sometimes tiring, but they definitely made me laugh . The place we stayed was also nice. This experience also gave me the chance to discover Hanoi and meet so many amazing people outside of volunteering, which made it even more memorable.

The experience at LongBien was overall nice! Working with the kids can be a bit chaotic and you end up doing the classes yourself (not as an assistant). It's not hard though, just be aware from the start. The location is a bit far away form the center but once you get used to the buses/grab it's not a problem either. The best thing are the other volunteers and people you meet at the school (older students, TA's). That's what truly makes this experience unique and worth it. Also, the mattresses are pretty hard!

The home is a really great education center and it can be a amazing volunteer opportunity if you are looking to work with and teach children! It's not specified anywhere yet but you will be expected to be the teacher. It is more than just holding conversations and exchanging. It can be a bit scary at first if you've never taught or when you don't know the kids or the staff but everyone is welcoming. The kids have all unique personalities and are so easy to get attached to. One of the fun parts is when you get to « free talk » with the adults!! Miss everyone already xx

Riverside education centre was an interesting volunteering experience. You have to know that you are not going to fully teach, rather play, babysit and try to sneak in some English to day to day life of some kids. The lunch and dinner wasn't included as said so you have to cook on your own in rather small kitchen. The apartment where you stay is a dorm where from Tuesday to Friday evenings kids have classes so it is not fully volunteers space. The beds are very firm. Besides that, great experience and Hien is a lovely host
