If you get the chance to be a volunteer here I would highly suggest you do. the host is a beautiful and peaceful place that I will cherish forever. Nuno and everyone that I met here were so welcoming, kind and hospitable. I always felt comfortable and in good hands. The work was light and flexible, and just a 1 hour bus away is the city of Madrid that I got to explore on the weekend. Thank you so much again. I am forever grateful to have experienced this place and to have met the people I did.

Staying with the host was certainly the best start to my volunteering life: I connected with nature, I cultivated, I learned about the Spanish reality, which is not only daily, but also socially and politically. Nuño at all times made me feel comfortable, included me in all the activities in which I could participate and contribute to something (moments of retreat), and it's a great hostel. I loved my experience with the host. It was a perfect place to disconnect from the routine and reconnect with myself. I had the freedom to work on things that I really enjoy, which made everything even more special. Nuño and his family are incredible people, very genuine and hospitable. They made me feel welcome from the first moment, and it was a pleasure to meet them. I also had time to get to know Madrid; it's about a one-hour trip from there, I had the chance to see a match of the biggest team in Spain, Real Madrid. No doubt, a beautiful experience that I would return to.
