The team there are extremely supportive and flexible, and the accommodations are clean and comfortable! Being in the Old City offers a "touristy" vibe but there's also tons of local restaurants, shops and people around town. Many opportunities to meet Thai people and learn more about the culture.

Volunteering at the hostel in Chiang Mai was truly amazing. the hostel is located right in the heart of the city – in the Old Town Square – which gives you easy access to everything within walking distance. Working as a yoga teacher at the hostel felt like a dream every day. I was able to plan and teach classes in my own way, which gave me maximum flexibility. The staff is AMAZING. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to help, and the overall vibe of the hostel is very relaxed. Everything runs smoothly, so there's no need to feeling stressed.

A beautiful place with comfortable beds, clean spaces, and great areas to work. But what truly makes it special is the people.
Thank you Mai, Emm, Pen, Tkey, Bum and all the staff for always welcoming me with a smile, listening, helping, and having such kind hearts. I’m leaving with much more than an experience , I’m leaving with friendships and memories that will stay with me for a long time.

Volunteering at The Yard was an amazing experience! I spent about a week there taking pictures for the hostel and had the best time. ChiangMai is such a cute and welcoming city and The Yard was the perfect place to connect with other travelers and make friends. I met the most amazing people in my time there and had fun every single day. The position was simple and flexible, with plenty of time and freedom to explore the city. The hostel is cozy, the atmosphere is lovely, and the whole team is incredibly kind. May and The Yard family made me feel truly welcomed and at home from the beginning :)

I had an amazing experience teaching yoga at the hostel. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, I felt so comfortable, the hostel is so welcoming, it felt just like home.
