Program Details
We are newcomers to hosting with Worldpackers. We are ex teachers and can help volunteers with their English skills. These two weeks are to help with building maintenance. We have guttering to replace, and repairs to our roof. Scaffolding will be in place and you would work with Steve who knows what to do.
Activities & Shift
We need 20 hours per week. We are flexible how those hours are delivered. For example, if it is bad weather, we may postpone planned work. There is a an hourly bus service through the village and there are bikes to borrow at no charge. There is no curfew but late homecoming should be quiet and considerate to neighbours.
Rules
Worldpackers should be non-smokers and not drink alcohol to excess. They should not take illegal drugs. Noise should be kept to a low level after 11.00 pm Friends can visit but are not allowed to stay overnight. We can't allow pets because we have livestock.
The shepherd's hut has been built by Steve and Ann and Worldpackers should respect their accommodation.
