I had a great stay at the inn. It is a large estate with a bar-restaurant located in the middle of nature in the Sierra Nevada, the place is truly magnificent! For a little over 2 weeks, I was able to participate in carrying out various tasks (painting, music, refurbishing a swimming pool, installing a trampoline, etc.). The inn is an incredible place. It's beautiful, full of life, and quickly feels like home. Mateo, Juan, and the whole team have created a warm and welcoming environment where it's easy to feel comfortable and connected. The place is a bit far from everything, but we ended up really enjoying the peace and quiet. We had a comfortable private room in a shared house and met wonderful people there, with whom we shared many funny moments. What we appreciated most was the freedom to contribute in our own way. the inn feels like home to us now. Thank you again for everything!

The nature is so magical that I would never have seen it if I hadn't had this experience. The work isn't difficult, and there are hikes to do afterward. Mateo is a considerate and respectful communicator, and I felt included while experiencing the local culture. There are adorable but shy puppies, and the accommodation is very comfortable. There's a churro shop in the village, run by a very kind lady; they're the best I've ever had. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience rural Spain

Mateo is a great guy overall, he is caring and fun to hang out with. Although, he is always busy because of the restaurant, so in order to get to know him better you should go for more than two weeks. The tasks can be easy and challenging too, but Mateo gives you plenty of time to do it “easy peasy” as he said. The place is gorgeous, the people are nice, but if you are a non-spanish speaker be prepared that almost nobody speaks English only Mateo, so communication and connecting could be hard without a proper Spanish knowledge. To sum up, it is a very pleasent experience!

I had a good time at the inn. The current volunteers made me feel at home, and the location is beautiful. The rest days were respected, and the tasks were alright, although they weren't always well explained. I was also comfortable with the accommodation provided. However, communication and organization could definitely be improved. I believe the place has a lot of potential, and I'm sure it will continue to improve over time. Thank you for hosting me!

If you like nature, the inn is ideal; it's a restaurant in the middle of the mountains but with a lot of movement. The volunteering experience has been good, the tasks are not difficult, both Mateo and Juan have welcomed us very well and I felt very comfortable volunteering here.

The truth is that we felt at home. Mateo and Juan are spectacular people who made us feel part of the place and like family from day one. They are two very loving, kind, attentive, empathetic people, among many other good qualities. The pousada and Guejar are very beautiful places and it's really worth summoning up the courage to visit them.
