Description: Volunteers contribute 900,000 COP per week, covering 21 meals, 7 nights in a 4-bed dorm, and weekly activities (permaculture, salsa, yoga, Colombian percussion, bonfire and birdwatching). We are looking for enthusiastic English teachers and language lovers who would like to support our team and local community through language learning and cultural exchange at Ritmo del RÃo.
As a volunteer, you will help improve English skills within the Ritmo del RÃo team while also participating in fun and interactive language exchange nights in collaboration with the Ritmo Spanish School.
What you’ll do:
Lead or support informal English classes for the Ritmo del RÃo team
Facilitate conversation practice and interactive activities
Help host language exchange nights with our Spanish School community
Contribute to creating a fun and supportive learning environment
Who we’re looking for:
Bilingual English speakers or fluent English speakers
People with experience in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or facilitating groups
Volunteers with TEFL, TESOL, or other teaching certifications are especially welcome
Friendly, patient people who enjoy community learning and cultural exchange
As a volunteer, you will also be able to participate in our weekly eco-lodge activities, which may include:
