Nature retreat for digital nomads - Agroecology
The experience
Experience life at an inspiring, community-focused agroforestry site! ☀️🌱
Our main activity is planting forests to restore biodiversity. We have a private room for digital nomads interested in living in this biodiversity-rich and peaceful environment and contributing to the communication of @nascentesitio.
We have space for a campfire, a dip in a waterfall, fishing, and bodywork practices on the platform by the lake.

Program Details
In the heart of the Atlantic Forest, just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Florianópolis, we offer a simple living space, connected to nature and designed for those who work remotely and seek more balance between work, well-being and purpose.
Here, you can live on a biodiverse agroforestry site, aligned with natural cycles, with only 10 hours of volunteering per week, leaving plenty of free time to devote to your personal work, creative projects, online studies, and rest amid the peace of the site.
The activities are connected to the land, involving mainly agroforestry management, as well as the organization of common spaces. We value collective care, natural rhythm, and a respectful and tranquil coexistence.
This is a place for those who appreciate:
Silence, nature and fresh air
A balanced routine between work and rest
Moments of contemplation, walking in the woods and a slowed-down life
Knowledge exchange with conscious and engaged people
Here, we believe that there are hours of doing and hours of simply being. We encourage breaks, rest and presence — essential for both life and remote work.
We are an experimental station of agroforestry and ecological practices. We welcome people who want to live more integrated with nature, learn new skills and contribute consciously, without giving up their professional projects.
If you are a digital nomad and feel that nature is a fertile environment for your creativity, focus and well-being, this place may be your next temporary home.
Activities & Shift
Our vacancy for digital nomads does not operate with fixed pre-determined shifts as it does for volunteers.
The site’s work days are from Tuesday to Saturday.
For this vacancy, the workload of collaboration is only 8 hours per week, but it doesn’t need to be distributed from Tuesday to Saturday. You can opt, for example, to dedicate yourself during 2 or 3 days with a concentrated workload; just align with the team according to the weekly activities plan.
Before and during the stay, we talk to understand:
What are your skills and interests
What is your online work routine and if there are day/time restrictions
In what way can your participation contribute best to the site
The most important is the willingness to collaborate in a conscious and respectful way with the environment and with the people.
We strongly encourage you to make the most of your free time to connect with the region, meet other permaculture and agroforestry projects, and integrate into the local community. We can help by facilitating contacts and referrals.
Extras and life on the site
We provide a covered wooden deck, free to use, ideal for practices such as meditation, yoga and physical exercises. Occasionally there are rodas de capoeira.
Moments of socializing are part of the experience: campfire, circle of conversation, guitar and stargazing. Each participant is welcome to propose dynamics, exchanges and experiences.
Rules
Rules of convivencia
To maintain a harmonious, organized and pleasant environment for everyone, we ask you to pay attention to some simple coexistence agreements:
Keep your personal belongings organized and avoid leaving them in common spaces.
Make the correct separation of waste and recyclable materials, according to the site’s guidelines.
Wash, dry and store the dishes after use.
Everyone collaborates with cleaning, the kitchen and the organization of shared spaces.
Take care to keep the collective lodging always clean and welcoming.
Respect the agreements and arrangements made together, especially related to activities and coexistence.
Enjoy the experience with lightness: have fun in the process and take care of yourself, respecting your limits and the pace of the place.
