My experience was nice and Carla is lovely and kind host. However I want to warn next volunteers that my working hours were totally different from those written on the app: I always worked at night and the turn was 8 hours not 6 (from 22 to 6 in the morning). Anyway I always worked 30 hours per week and there's a possibility to talk with Carla and collegues to find the best schedule for everyone.

The hostel is very well located, in a very safe and quiet area, 200 meters from the boardwalk with a view of the sea and beautiful sunrises and sunsets, parks, shops and restaurants, everything is very practical around here.
The tasks are clear and simple, the atmosphere of the hostel is really cool.
And Karla and the team above all are so welcoming, kind, all family at heart.
I will come back here on my return to Peru, by the way ❤️

I really enjoyed my experience here, perfect for someone traveling alone like me. Flexible schedules in which I could work online without any problem. It's a medicinal hostel; it helped me get out of a life of excess without risk of relapse, I learned a lot about ancestral medicine and culture.. The management takes good care of its guests and volunteers, and makes the stay at this place pleasant and full of good memories
