My time at the hostel was great! Boris and Jessica are so lovely and really do the most to make you feel part of the family. The space itself is very cozy, equipped kitchen and feels like a second home. Boris was very patient with me in learning Spanish and tried to teach me a lot! This is the perfect place to relax for a couple weeks or work remotely. I will say it is very isolated via public transport and there is not much to do in Frutillar itself so having access to a car would help a lot - otherwise you can just relax in your downtime. My experience was incredible. I learned a lot and was able to get to know the local culture. The city is small, but you can take a bus and explore. I arrived in the off-season, so the tasks are more relaxed. The place is very pretty and well kept. I am more than grateful for this opportunity, but above all for connecting with their hosts. I had a great time at the hostel! Jessica is fantastic; we used to have breakfast together and go out to eat together from time to time. I love the little town and the freedom to explore the nearby lakes and villages. Boris communicates very well and I really enjoyed talking with him. All the tasks are very easy and there isn't much work (in winter). I highly recommend it if you're looking for something quieter but you still want to help and connect with other people. My stay at the hostel was a 10/10. From the first moment everything was clear and well discussed. The tasks are simple, schedules are respected and there is flexibility with working hours and days off. The hostel is beautiful, welcoming, clean and very comfortable, a place where you really feel at home.
