My time here was great! I mainly worked reception at the SOM Hostel (20min walk from U-nit) and everything ran smoothly and was easy to pick up on :) Everyone is super friendly and helpful for whenever you need it. I would definitely come back and I’ll miss the whole team :(

I volunteered here and I'd do it again. Special shout to the team and to Nico for the organization. Everything was organized, the work was nice, and you always knew where you stood.

Worth saying for anyone who works remote like me: I kept working the whole time I was here. I could use the facilities while I worked and it was never a problem.

Not really what I was looking for. I was disappointed after making a lot of effort that seemed to go unnoticed, the hostel is not a great place to meet travellers and communication between the owner (Arturo) and the volunteers was at times disrespectful, sending general messages like "if you don't like it you can pack your bags and go home". The breakfast was a couple of pieces of bread and often times no butter or jam and instant coffee. The volunteers helped make the experience 4 stars but if not for them I would rate it 3 stars. Shout out to Alexis and Caro for being amazing people.

My experience in Valencia was amazing thanks to my colleagues and to the whole team of the hostel. I worked as a receptionist and my main tasks were to collect guests' information for check-in and check-out, answer phone calls, and sell some products. The working hours were fully respected, something I value a lot. I also highlight the good relationship and communication between the managers and the volunteers, which contributed to making the experience very positive. I carry with me lovely memories and friendships ❤️

It was a wonderful experience! ❤️ The hostel is very beautiful, organized and clean, and all of the volunteer hours were fulfilled as agreed. In addition, they are quite flexible with the schedules. At one point, I needed to ask for a day off and we managed to adjust everything calmly.
I also really enjoyed the opportunity to have contact with other volunteers, since there are a lot of people participating in the program. It was a very good experience to meet people from different places, exchange experiences and create good memories. Valencia is a beautiful city too, I loved exploring!

It was an amazing experience! ❤️ The hosts are super organized, flexible, and always gave me all the support I needed. The environment is clean and organized, and working with the cleaning staff was great for practicing my Spanish and learning new words.

I had an incredible experience! It was my first volunteering experience, and although I felt insecure about Spanish, the support and understanding from the leadership and the volunteer team was essential to my development! I was embraced by everyone! My leader was also very professional and flexible from the first contact. I connected with travelers from different countries, even with those I never imagined meeting! I made new, beautiful friendships and shared quality moments! All that remains now is longing! Gratitude for everything!!!

It's an experience where you learn a lot about the hospitality industry since they teach you the highest standards of work in all areas. It's a volunteer program that requires your time and energy, as the tasks keep you active. Schedules are respected and agreed upon correctly. Communication is provided through several means and is clear. The energy of the place and of the people who work there is great. The days are spent singing and laughing. I had the opportunity to learn how part of hostel management works and to work directly at the reception, an activity that I liked a lot because it allows being in contact with people from different countries.
