I had an absolutely amazing time here! The tent was cozy and facilities were great and close by. I had so many wonderful outdoor showers. Laura is an incredible host, she is kinda and patient and clear with the tasks she asks to be done. I didn't find any of the work to be overwhelming and had a lot of flexibility of when I could do it. The property is beautiful and calming. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Laura is a incredible host and James was very knowledgeable and helpful! They are extremely accommodating and laid back, we felt very safe and welcomed at their home. They provide clear tasks and tailor what you're doing to what you feel comfortable with and have experience in. It's about a 10 minute Uber ride to town typically costing 3-5€. Usually on the lower end if you compare bolt and uber. Their home is in a lovely village located a 2 minute walk from a coffee & beer shop, and a 20 minute walk from a very nice cafe which serves Michelin grade food by our American standards. Love🫶

Laura was a great host who made sure I was welcomed onsite and respected the agreed hours/tasks. The conditions are rustic but good, just be sure to pack earplugs so the roosters don’t wake you up! I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this as a great base from which to explore the Algarve.

We stayed exactly as we had expected, in the tent in the backyard, which was cozy, comfortable. As for the tasks, even though they could be tiring at times, Laura organized and distributed them really well, so it never felt overwhelming. My experience at the house was very good! Laura is very kind and funny. The tasks were very clear and the hours of work agreed were respected. Lagos, the nearest town, is beautiful and the bus passes one block from the house; in 20 minutes you arrive and you will find the most beautiful and incredible beaches! If you go in the summer it's very hot and the sun is very strong at the house, I had to sleep in a tent and it was very comfortable, the only thing I didn't like was the bathroom since it was outside and in the last days mice entered. Everything else was great!
