Stephan, yolo and the rest of the staff at neupitz are very respectful and friendly. If you're coming you should expect about six hours of work a day but this can vary depending on the amount of volunteers. You are close to Berlin geographically but busses run (usually) hourly and not very late so if you're planning on going to Berlin every day off you might be sleeping the night at the train station All in all very pleasant and positive experience - with a nice balance with work around the house/kitchen and also time in nature while still being close enough to Berlin for some partying

From the start I felt very welcome. I was greeted by other travelers and we instantly got along. The host Stephan is a very kind, well organized and respectful person who deals with problems on the spot. Easy going and flexible too. When it comes to working, it was mainly kitchen help and physical tasks. It was great we could make our own schedule too 👍 Other people from staff were also cool and nice. Place is vege friendly. I liked my room, was cosy and beds extra comfy, but you have to share it with other volunteer or 2. Great experience and there is cute dog on the venue 🐕

Neupitz is an incredible place, surrounded by beautiful nature and a very peaceful atmosphere✨. It's a bit remote and not very well connected, so be prepared to wait for trains and buses, but that's also part of the experience and definitely worth it. 🚲 The tasks are simple and easy to manage, and the staff is amazing — everyone is super kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Even the guests are lovely! I really enjoyed my time here, meeting people from different places and being surrounded by nature. I would definitely recommend volunteering at Neupitz!

I would highly recommend the Neupitz experience. The community that forms with the other volunteers is very special and the Neupitz team themselves are friendly and welcoming. Stephan is a generous host making sure you are always comfortable and allowing you the space to voice any qualms. A great experience overall :)

I really enjoyed my time at Neupitz. Meeting Stephan and Pierre and all the workers there and getting to know the was truly a pleasure. It feels like a very open environment with good people and characters. Some things I would say is that Neupitz is absolutely beautiful, right next to a gorgeous lake which is next to the sauna so make the most of it while you are there. Something else good to know is that the hours can be quite one, the tasks are not particularly hard but Stephan does have a way he wants things done and it can make days quite long with the breaks in between but also rewarding.

Hey Ben,

thank you very much for the fun times together, for your dedication and all the work you put in. And thanks a lot for all he feedback you shared in private. That helps me a lot to better understand the experience from a volunteers perspective and helps me to make adjustments to how we organize things here.

My experience at Neupitz was fantasticccccc This was my first time using worldpackers and it was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't be happier with how it went. Stephan the host was perfect in my opion, he sticked to the agreed hours and tasks. He took care of me like one of his own and always checked in to make sure I am comfortable. During my stay Stephan had to deal with some other difficult volunteers and I believe he handled it really well. Neupitz really feels like home. It has everything you need and I cant think of anything they need to change

Neupitz was an incredible experience and I feel very lucky to have stayed there. Stephan is a great person: positive, kind, and always willing to help. The place is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and everything is very organized. You just need to follow the rules and be proactive.

Tip: Neupitz is about 40 minutes or more from Berlin, so plan your transportation in advance because getting to the train and bus stations can sometimes be chaotic.

It was truly a pleasure. Thank you Stephan and team, and kisses to dear Yolo!
