Przemyslaw was an amazing hose. He was very helpful and easy to talk to. The other volunteers there were great to spend time with and we were able to go to the beach quit a few times which I didn't expect. I was walking the dogs and I loved doing it. The organisation is truly inspiring what they do for the animals there!

I had a wonderful time volunteering at Centaurus in Modlimowo. There are so many animals to care for, and the sanctuary is located in a beautiful, spacious countryside setting. It's also only about a 20-minute drive from the sea and the stunning beaches around Rewal, which is a great bonus on your days off.
The people are kind and welcoming, the food is delicious, and I met many interesting volunteers from different places. It was a meaningful experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves animals and wants to spend time in a friendly, supportive environment.

Myself and two others stayed at the Centaurus Modlimowo sanctuary for a week and had the most amazing experience. The hosts gave excellent communication, provided all the facilities we needed and even went above and beyond taking us into town and the beach on our evenings off. Everyone at the farm was so kind and welcoming. Our tasks included mucking out stables, weeding the gardens and tidying the shelter / lawn. We got to walk the dogs each morning, and visit them throughout the day. Cannot recommend enough!

I had amazing experience at this animal rescue. I went in not really knowing what to expect as I've never really farmed before but I came out with newly learnt skills and a deep understanding into farm life. We got to interact with the animals there and I loved being able to pet the cats, horses, dogs and even goats whenever we had free time. The jobs consisted of whatever they needed help with at the time, one day we did a little mucking out of the stables, others we were in the garden weeding etc was very manual labour but very rewarding knowing we were helping out the staff with their work

Our time at Modlimowo has been amazing. The people working there treated us with open arms and kindness, and we were able to learn so much about the farm and themselves. There are more than 300 animals on the farm, including dogs, horses, ponies, cows, sheep, donkeys, and cats, and it felt really peaceful to be with them and the nature. If you come by yourself, it might get a little boring after you finish the morning volunteering since everyone else still needs to work. We had a whole kitchen and we spent a lot of time cooking delicious food :)

My stay in Modlimowo was not what I expected, and I had to leave 20 days earlier than planned. The description said I would take care of horses, but I was only asked to walk the dogs, which can be a lot for one person without help. Communication between workers and volunteers is very poor, with contradictory instructions and frequent misunderstandings. Sadly, the treatment from some workers was disrespectful and was the main reason I left. After an incident related to one of my tasks, a worker decided my stay was over. I believe problems can be solved without being disrespectful.
