This was an excellent opportunity to experience organic farming in the Salento region. I got to learn about local crops and the history of the olive production in the area. Pino was so kind and accomodating. He taught me much about farming practices sbd provided transportation so I could explore on my days off, with trips to the western beaches and eastern rocky shores. It was fun to go swimming in the Sea!
