It was so nice staying with Noreen! The tasks were relatively easy and taking Murphy the dog for walks was super lovely, there are some really nice spots nearby. The property was a bit isolated but Noreen showed me around to a few spots and let me join in with some of her hobbies/groups she’s part of including some dancing, singing, poetry and arts

This was my first volunteer experience, and I left more than happy. In fact, I wish I could have stayed much longer. Noreen is a sweetheart and a wonderful woman. Her house is very welcoming, and the chores are very easy to do. Murphy is obedient, has lots of energy, and loves cuddles. The kittens are very well-behaved. It's an experience I'll never forget. 100% recommended.

Once again, the work was straightforward, and we had plenty of free time. This time there was another volunteer as well, which finally allowed us to play Whist! Noreen was so kind to host us for a second time; as always, the work wasn't particularly hard, but varied and sometimes even fun. We did a flower arrangement for the first time and helped her a bit with her theatrical play.
Since there was another volunteer, we could play Whist, a typical Irish card game (be prepared to lose!). I recommend this host even more now; she will make you love Ireland and can answer any curiosity you have about it. Plus you'll truly find a home away from home here, the important thing is to be kind!

This was our first experience and Noreen was an excellent host. She really gave us our space and was always so kind. The work was straightforward and never overwhelming; since it was January and February, most of the tasks were indoors. We had plenty of free time to explore the beautiful local spots, including those she recommended herself. She even took us to see traditional Irish dancing and two Irish singing and poetry sessions. Plus, her dog Murphy is incredibly sweet and playful!

Noreen is a kind host and shared many interesting stories about Ireland with us. She made us feel at home and invited us to local singing and poetry sessions in the pubs, and to an Irish set dance course. The work was fair leaving us with a lot of free time. Also, she had lots of recommendations for places to visit and she dropped us off at the bus stop. We also had bikes available, which were perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. The house is lovely and very cozy. And then there’s Murphy, the most playful and cuddly dog ever! We are going to miss them both.

Noreen is truly one of the nicest people I've met! The work is not hard at all, and it was really enjoyable to get outside and walk in the Irish countryside. Murphy (the dog) was one of the best parts. She is the sweetest dog that loves everyone. Noreen took me Irish dancing, Irish music listening and storytelling. It was a wonderful experience!
