This was the best place I could have asked for myself! the hosts were very nice and fun to be around and talk with on different subjectes both on and off the work. The animals were all so cute and nice to be with, Marthus was always helpful with anything and a good teacher at every task around the farm. I went hiking alone or with either one of the horses and they were always as attentive and nice as their owners. Margo and Barto were great and kept making sure I didn't lack anything. The room was more then just a room...it was a great house to myself with the calming nature right outside

Our stay at Modra Farma was peaceful and calm. The tasks weren’t difficult, mostly it was renovating job cause it was almost the end of guest season. We had nice board game evenings together with the hosts. Matusz made as feel very comfortable (big thanks for him!). Mostly we were cooking but host was always opened to buy new ingredients without hesitation. It was nice experience.

Modrá the camping is an amazing place to volunteer ! I had a lot of fun feeding the animals, painting and helping Margo and Mark, and also Matus. They made me feel welcome straight away, and I quickly felt at home ! The countryside is really beautiful and you can walk on several tracks there. The work wasn't hard, the hours were respected, and I had a cosy little caravan as a room. The animals are all really cute and cuddly, and the whole place is so peaceful ! My only regret is not staying longer. I can only recommend ✨

This was the most relaxing and at-home experience I could've hoped for with Worldpackers. From the get-go, Mark and Margo welcomed me into their little farm family and helped me feel right at home. All working hours were respected and I enjoyed all the tasks I got to do! Lots of fun creative painting, hanging out with cute animals, cleaning up around the coffee bar, etc. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a time away from the big city life where you can be surrounded by lots of animals, greenery, and really nice people. There is lots to explore around the property!

This was absolutely an amazing experience for me. Since the beginning Margo and Mark did everything to make me comfortable and after a few days I already felt at home. The work is not hard, you just need to put effort in it; if you don't know how to do something they will explain it to you and also the working hours were always respected. The campsite is surrounded by beautiful nature, and I really loved the animals. I am so grateful for this opportunity!

Mark and Margo are awesome and friendly. The animals range in type. Dogs, chickens, goats and more! and they are all friendly. As a big eater the food was quite light. However, they go on grocery runs every week and are very accommodating. There is wifi at the main house and the family will welcome you! Matt, a worker there, made the experience 2x better! He is friendly and a hard worker. Slovakia is beautiful. The city this farm is located in is even more special... even for locals. Be ready to work and get dirty but also a great experience! I would have this experience again!
