Highly recommend Backpacker's Home! It's my first time volunteering and definitely the best experience that I could expect. Our Manager June she's a pro chef! She cooked us so many delicious Korean food and let us do whatever we wanted in the hostel hahah karaoke, barbecue, she even drove us to see the Sunrise! 😭 3 weeks was definitely not enough, just getting closer to all of them and I have to say goodbye🥺 so, please stay at least 1 month if you can, so you can really have a deep bond with everyone!

I loved volunteering at Backpacker’s Home.
The staff is so welcoming and I felt comfortable from the minute I arrived there.
The hostel is clean and the rooms super spacious. The atmosphere in the hostel is very social and there are welcome parties with the guests almost every night:) We also sometimes had dinners together with the other volunteers and hostel staff.
The work is 3 days a week, I did two days of breakfast and one day of evening shift. It’s only a few hours and very easy tasks.
I made some good friends at this hostel and will miss this place:)

Loved my stay at the hostel, I wish I could've stayed even longer, the 2 weeks flew by so quickly! The team is amazing…kind, fun, helpful. Work hours are very chill (3days per week 5h) there's breakfast provided as well. The accommodation is also very comfortable and the hostel is simply magical! 100% recommend :)

This is my first experience on worldpackers. I have so many wonderful memories in this summer. The accommodation here is excellent. The working hours and job responsibilities are also very reasonable so you'll have plenty of time to do what you want. Every day was joyful and relaxing. You can either rest quietly or join social gatherings whenever you like. It has a good international atmosphere, and you can immerse yourself in local culture thanks to the enthusiasm of the Korean staffs. Everyone I've met is kind, warm, and open-minded. Miss you all! I definitely will recommend this place.

I absolutely recommend the hostel for anyone who wants to travel South Korea! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, both the other volunteers, hosts and guests. We often ate together or went out doing the day, and there was lots of opportunities to meet and do stuff with the other people there. The work was also pretty easy, I liked that it was mainly in the morning, so you have the rest of the day off to do stuff. The rooms were also nice, not too small. All in all it was a really nice experience, will definately come back if I ever go to the hostel again! Thank u!

I don't even know where to begin. It was my first volunteer experience, and I can only say it was incredible. They truly make you feel at home. They are the kindest people in the world. The work isn't difficult at all, and it's only for a few hours. I just finished my stay with them and I already want to go back. They gave me so much that I truly feel I owe them something. All the staff and the other volunteers are amazing. They really take great care of us, and the stay is amazing. From what little I've seen of other volunteer opportunities, I dare say this is the best one on this app so far.

I was truly impressed by her positive attitude and strong work ethic. She always approached every task with enthusiasm and was a pleasure to work with.
The Mexican food she prepared for our staff was absolutely amazing—we all loved it!

I loved every minute of volunteering here even though my time was cut short due to a family emergency back home. The hosts (Sam and Mr Choi) were so understanding and supportive about it.
The work is very easy, I did the breakfast shift and cleaned the lounge. And you get plenty of time off to explore a beautiful island.
The atmosphere of the hostel is very social and friendly but also pretty relaxed. The rooms are very nice too and the outdoor areas are peaceful.
Everyone I met became a close friend and I miss all of them so much. I highly recommend this place to every traveler. 🌞

The experience was great. Chilled place with easy work anf loads of free time. The boss man is great and will help you out with anything. His wife is an amazing cook as well. We had great Volunteer around us which made the experience even better. We will be back!
