Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed to be a rewarding experience for those who want to contribute to the growth of our eco river camping while enjoying the beauty and serenity of Siargao Island. As a builder, you'll work for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, helping us construct native huts and set up sustainable camp areas.

We offer you the choice of staying in a private native tent for your accommodation, or in a dorm room if you prefer a more social atmosphere. Every day, you’ll enjoy a wholesome breakfast, and for extra meals, you can harvest fresh produce from our farm and cook your own meals.

This program is a great balance of hard work, learning, and enjoying the natural beauty of Ilocos Norte—all while being part of a community that values sustainability and collaboration.

Activities & Shift

Our volunteer program follows a typical shift schedule of 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, giving you a balance of work and free time each day. The exact shift times may be adjusted depending on the number of paid workers and volunteers, ensuring everyone’s contributions are well-coordinated. You’ll work on building native huts, helping with farm tasks, and supporting other eco-projects, all while enjoying the flexibility to work at a pace that suits you.

Rules

As a volunteer at our eco-farm campsite, we ask that you follow these simple rules to ensure a respectful and harmonious environment for everyone:

Clean as You Go: Keep your space tidy, dispose of waste properly, and help maintain the cleanliness of the farm and common areas. Let’s work together to keep our environment beautiful!

Be Punctual and Reliable: Arrive on time for your shifts and contribute fully to the projects you’re involved in. Reliability is important for smooth operations.

Respect Nature: As part of an eco-farm, we strive to protect the environment. Be mindful of your impact on nature, avoid waste, and use resources wisely.

Safety First: Always prioritize safety when working. Follow instructions, use equipment responsibly, and ask for help if you’re unsure about anything.

Stay Open-Minded: Be willing to learn new skills, adapt to local ways of life, and embrace the community spirit of the farm. Every experience is an opportunity to grow!
