🌞Summer in Italy: Wine Tastings & Winery Life in Green Umbria 🍷
The experience
Hi, I’m Iacopo and I run a small independent organic winery in the Umbrian countryside near Todi. For this summer I’m looking for someone to join and share daily life here: light cellar and vineyard work, helping with wine tastings and occasionally in the kitchen. It’s a simple, authentic experience, more about sharing the rhythm of the place than just work.

Program Details
This volunteer program is based on sharing daily life in a small independent winery. The experience combines wine tasting activities, guest hosting, and light daily tasks related to the winery and the house. The goal is to be part of the place, not just to visit it.
Wine tasting is a regular part of the experience and happens naturally during the week, often connected to visitors, conversations, and everyday winery life. The volunteer is involved in these moments and gradually learns how tastings are handled in a real working environment.
Activities & Shift
The days are flexible and follow the rhythm of the season. On average around 3–4 hours a day, 5 days a week, usually in the morning or late afternoon depending on the weather and activities.
Tasks are varied and light: vineyard work, small cellar tasks, helping with wine tastings and occasionally in the kitchen. There’s always time to rest, explore the area or enjoy the countryside.
Rules
Respect for the house, the winery, and shared spaces is essential. A responsible attitude and clear communication are expected. English is required to interact with guests. This is not a party environment. Mutual respect, common sense, and collaboration are the basis of the experience.
