I would recommend volunteering at Eagleye homestay/glamping if you are an animal lover especially cat. Eagleye Langkawi is running by a small team of people who are friendly, sociable, capable, caring and fun. The private room is very comfortable, the work is easy, working hours are flexible and they also provide an electric scooter for us to go around nearby. Highly recommend for both beginner and experienced volunteer.

The host Anna and all other Eagleye staff members were very warm and friendly from the first day on. They really made us feel welcome and a part of the team.
Shifts and the tasks included were well organized and clear. They were also flexible: we wanted to do an overnight trip to Koh Lipe, and we could plan our shifts in a way that allowed us to go.
I would really recommend this experience, even for a first-time Worldpackers experience. I would maybe suggest staying for a month or longer, because then you allow yourself the possibility to get to know people and Langkawi on a deeper level!

My experience at Eagleye has been one of the best. You get your own room and bathroom, with clear work hours and no expectation of overtime. Management are kind and accommodating, and the work is easy, mainly helping at the café/bar and supporting housekeeping. Tasks include making drinks, taking payments, checking guests in and out, and assisting guests. The staff and guests are lovely, making it a really pleasant place to work. Highlights include free laundry, coffee and tea, a small gym, 50% off the menu, a beach 1 minute away, cheap local food nearby, and a free meal daily.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at Eagleeye. Anna and her team are friendly, great hosts and provide a lot of guidance for volunteers. Usually you will work alongside at least one staff member. The work itself was very straightforward. The schedule is always communicated clearly. The food is delicious. The place is beautiful and the beach is literally a minute walk away. Be aware that the location is a bit isolated if you don’t have access to transport but you can always take a Grab, rent, or one of the staff is usually willing to give you a ride if they’re going in that direction.

I’m so grateful for my time at eagleye and already plan to come back. I stayed for one month and had the best experience. The whole team is so welcoming, and I felt like part of their family from day 1. The hosts are very transparent about the role and flexible with tasks based on your strengths, I got to work as a server, housekeeper, and help in the kitchen. Also rescued a kitten!! I had amazing opportunities to explore the island, learn a lot, and meet many people from around the world. I am so grateful for the friends and memories I made during my stay.

I would recommend volunteering at Eagleye to anyone who is open to being social and loves cats. The homestay is run by a lovely small team and everybody helps around, plus they rescue cats so they're all around the facility:)
