Antea is such a kind-hearted, warm person, an amazing mother who always looks out for her guests, and she's also so funny. Antea, the manager of the hostel, is a breathe of fresh air and made the experience so wonderful and fun and comfortable. I'm very grateful to have been blessed with working with her, and all the other volunteers (and guests) have said the same thing. The shifts are very reasonable, the room is great, I honestly couldn't recommend Hostel Durrës enough.

The host Antea is so kind and funny!! This hostel is very chill and relaxed so the work is super easy! You will just be checking in guests and washing the laundry on shift. Antea is really easy to communicate with if you need anything. You get a lot of time to explore Durrës and the surrounding areas of Albania too! I highly recommend!! Thank you so much Antea! I will miss you!!

One of the best volunteering experiences I’ve had so far. I especially want to thank Antea for all her help and support throughout my stay.
I learned so much and had so much fun during this experience. The location is also amazing. The working hours are very comfortable, and Antea is incredibly helpful and supportive as a manager.
I also had the chance to explore different parts of Albania by taking my two days off together.
I would definitely recommend working at this hostel to anyone. And a special thank you again to Antea for being so warm, kind, and helpful throughout my stay.

I had a fantastic experience volunteering at this hostel. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and everyone made me feel comfortable from the very first moment.
The manager was especially kind, understanding, fun and very pleasant. She was always willing to help and was very easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed working with the team and hope to return someday.
The tasks were clear and straightforward. It was a great opportunity to meet travelers from different countries while enjoying Durrës.

Nataly was such a lovely, kind, and hardworking girl. She was always friendly, cheerful, and brought a really positive energy to the hostel. She was responsible, helpful, and easy to communicate with. It was a real pleasure having her with us, and we would happily welcome her back anytime!

It was my first worldpackers experience and it went great! Place it a bit worn down, but have a good spirit, I was with amazing volunteers and our manager Antea, she's extremely caring and warm person. Hours were respected, job is not hard and pretty straightforward. Also they have nice common area, where you can chill with other volunteers and guests. In my last days there was a change in management, so it's hard to tell how it's gonna be for future volunteers.

My experience at Hostel Durrës was 100% a positive one. First of all the team were all amazing and friendly, from Antea being a really genuine person and great manager to all the friends I made with the other volunteers, everyone was very welcoming. I was there during low season so the work and responsibilities were very easy and always well communicated. Usually the shifts are 5 hours per day morning or evening and this is all very well organised. This can also be said for days off, Antea does a great job in making sure that everyone gets their deserved time. Will miss you all, thank you :)
