My two weeks with the community and the community were a gift. I learned about Indonesian history, cuisine and culture, organic cotton processing and handcrafted textiles, visited local places and even helped teach the children. They included me in their daily routine and shared unique experiences outside the foundation that will stay in my heart forever! It had been a long time since I felt so listened to: they are genuinely interested in people and ask questions that make you reflect. I recommend this to every traveler for the deep cultural immersion and for a couple behind this project. Such an inspiration!

I was only there for a short time, but the lessons I take with me are for life. Everyone in the village welcomed me with open arms! The local children are so so lovely and wish I could have stayed longer. Both the community and the community are so knowledgeable about so many different topics, from sustainability, traditional practices, history, and even telenovelas! You learn something new every moment. I am incredibly thankful and hope to come back! Terima Kasih

The enthusiasm that Dayane gave us continues to leave an impression. Laughing out loud together, he was just as we imagined. Exactly what he wrote in his profile. Ask him to teach you relaxation (stretching) on a chair, this is good for you to do after work, he is a professional gymnastic instructor.

My stay at the community and the community was absolutely unforgettable and one of the highlights of my trip to Indonesia. It was so special to become completely immersed in the local culture of the village and learn the traditional practices of the people, while sharing my knowledge of English with the local children. the community is so knowledgable about the history of her culture and it was an absolute privilege to embrace it with her for the week. I would absolutely recommend this foundation to anyone looking to truly get to know the culture and practices of Lombok. Thank you so much the community and the community!

Our team appreciates how they respect our culture and way of life—including their willingness to learn to eat with their hands. For those who joined us, such as Aisling, it was their first time eating this way. They helped prepare and clean up after meals, kept to an early schedule, and taught English professionally. Aisling even made time to wash her own clothes. We were impressed. She showed patience as she observed our process of building a sustainable local economy.

My experience with the community and the community was truly unforgettable. Every day I learned something new about sustainability, environmental values, and living in harmony with nature and the local community. Their passion, generosity, and commitment to a more conscious way of life are deeply inspiring. Learning about cotton cultivation and the entire process behind it was fascinating. They welcomed and cared for me like family, sharing delicious homemade meals, meaningful conversations, and making me feel part of the community. I leave with wonderful memories and valuable lessons.

Paula is someone who respects time. She dedicated time to teaching English to children in our community, learned how we prepare the food we serve, and helped prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner just like a member of our own family. She also helped prepare cotton pillows for the next volunteers, showed respect for time, and learned to eat with her hands—a standard practice for the local people.

Being at the foundation with the community and the community was a very enriching experience. It allowed me to truly connect with the local culture. I learned a lot about Indonesian food, cotton, history, and traditions, and I had the opportunity to be in nature, disconnect, teach English to local girls, and meet other people in the community. the community and the community were excellent hosts. If you're interested in nature, learning to live at a different pace, and getting to know the local community, it's a great experience.

A week of living with Gaby felt like a day. Her commitment to helping with light kitchen chores, ensuring the animals ate breakfast on time, her willingness to learn about our hand-eating habits, her willingness to listen to our history and culture, and her willingness to prepare Mexican tortillas for us until we could make them ourselves. We gained her knowledge of local history and culture in just one week. It was quite short. And unforgettable. Gaby would wake up at 6 a.m, start activity.

Sassia is very committed, starting from the moment she arrived at our place. She respects our traditions. She takes the time to discuss things and helps with social work, such as teaching English to the neighborhood children who come every day. Sassia dresses modestly. She even does her own laundry, even though we offer free laundry services. She helps with our kitchen work, especially preparing dinner. She helps clean up after meals and keeps her bedroom neat and clean.

An incredibly enriching experience that allows you to step out of your comfort zone to discover another way of life. I spent two incredible weeks at the foundation with the community and the community, who are really very welcoming and kind people. The pace was really very chill, it allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. We cooked good meals together, did a few small excursions, met the inhabitants of the village and gave some English lessons to the children. It is a true immersion in the local culture!
