The Uganda National Medical Alliance for Prisoners Support is an accredited non-profit organization in Kampala, Uganda, working to strengthen health services, rehabilitation, civic education, research, and reintegration support for prisoners, their families, and ex-offenders 🇺🇬

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Program Details

As volunteers arrive, they will be able to learn, conduct local programs, and interact with local community members, including local leaders and representatives from relevant ministries, departments, and agencies in Uganda. Above all, we will be able to conduct community-led monitoring and prison visits together.


Activities & Shift

Our daily activities shall include community-led monitoring, focusing on Home visits to collect demographic information, civic education, provision of social support services among vulnerable families and prisons, provide mental health and psychosocial support, refer and link people for a continuum of care and conduct evidence-based studies
