I’m looking for motivated volunteers to join a participatory building project in beautiful rural Brittany!
If you’re interested in bioclimatic design, natural building, or simply want to learn by doing, this is the place for you. Whether you’re available for a few days or several months, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
The goal is to build a bioclimatic house from scratch! Also, trees will be planted in Autumn following a precise permacultural design.
30 hours of help per week
Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.
Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

The basement of the main house has just been completed. Now we are mounting the wall made of wood and then we will fill the insulation made of bales of straw !
What You Need to Know
The site is in the countryside. The surrounding area requires a bike or motor vehicle (the Nantes–Brest Canal is 7 km away, the village is 5 km). I can pick you up and drop you off at Carhaix train station if you wish.

We build the house when the weather allows and once per week I can bring you around.
