A nice hostel on the Asian side of Istanbul. The living conditions for volunteers are quite nice, and the 24hours of housekeeping a week are manageable enough. Achmed, who mainly handles the schedules and reception, seems nice, and I really appreciated his flexibility in rearranging my hours so I could enjoy the city more. Nour, who is now mainly responsible for cleaning, is also very nice and hardworking. Sometimes, the workload can get a bit stressful when things need to be ready on time, which is understandable given the size of the hostel. But it was still a quite enjoyable experience.

Ahmed and his were the best. The hostel had international travelers from all over the world. You have to choose the shift when Ahmed is working because he is more understanding than Samet 😁 a great experience in total.

This is my first time volunteering. I'm really grateful to the people working here, and I especially want to thank Samet — he's a very honest and fair person. The work isn't difficult, though there are moments when something isn't totally clear at first, but you just need to figure it out and get used to it. There were a few misunderstandings during my stay, but getting to know people from all over the world totally makes up for it. We had an amazing time together with the other volunteers almost every evening.

I had a good experience; the host asked me to help with English lessons for people from the area, and I really enjoyed it. The hostel is located on the Asian side; the area is really nice, and you have everything you need. The work hours were respected; he was flexible with the schedule to accommodate one day if you needed.

From the moment I arrived I felt very welcomed. Ahmed is a great manager. Work was easy and hours respected.
If I asked for a certain shift i always got it, just the announcements always came in the evening/late at night, so kind of hard if you want to plan in advance, but probably could be arranged as well, as communication was really smooth and everyone tried to accommodate us volunteers as much as possible.

Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
