Program Details

Our organization is the Sri Lanka’s largest and most respected non-profit organization. For over six decades, we have been working to uplift communities through compassion, cooperation and self-reliance.

Volunteers will be involved in a wide range of activities, including working with preschools, teaching in schools, gardening, supporting dairy farming, pottery, brick making, selling vegetables, making sweets, construction work, tailoring, handloom, and handicrafts and many more.

Accommodation is arranged with host families or in community houses, including healthy local meals and a chance to share daily life with villagers.

You’ll gain hands-on learning in eco-friendly agriculture, community engagement, and cultural exchange, all within a peaceful, nature-filled setting. It’s a meaningful opportunity to slow down, learn from local wisdom, and contribute to a movement rooted in compassion and sustainability.

This experience is ideal for anyone who enjoys working outdoors, values simple living, and wants to contribute to meaningful grassroots work that promotes environmental awareness and sustainable livelihoods.
