I originally came to Qué Onda Hostel as a guest and ended up staying as a volunteer, which says everything about my experience here. Óscar made me feel welcome from day one and what started as a hostel stay quickly felt like being part of a family.

Amazing atmosphere, great people and a place that truly feels like home. Could not recommend it more.

The experience was a lot of fun, you get a lot of benefits from the hostel including, free tours, free quality coffee, and free use of the motor bikes, also there is some food provided like bread, tomato's and mangoes. Oscar is a wild and fun guy always with a lot of energy! He is pretty busy though so it was hard to get in contact with him at some point. We agreed apon 3.5 days working all day (8am~5pm) or until the last person checks in and 3.5 days off. Very chill work and very layed back. Juayua is nice with one bar and lots of waterfalls. Bedroom could use some work and only cold showers.
