Our Philosophy of Coexistence
“Harmonize for the brother.”
At Viveiro, coexistence means taking care of the space and the people.
Used an environment? Leave it clean, organized and ready for the next person. No one should leave to the other the dirt, the mess, or the consequence of what was used.
This commitment applies to all of us — guests, volunteers, residents, clients and service providers.
Respect, tranquility, presence and collective care are part of our frequency.
Care and be cared for. Harmonizing for the brother is an act of love.

Rules
The rhythm of our coexistence
Camping Viveiro is a biophilic space. Here, nature, presence, tranquility, respect, care for others and collective responsibility are part of the experience.
Therefore, before choosing this vacancy, it is important to understand whether this rhythm also suits you.
To experience volunteering at Camping Viveiro, you must commit to sobriety throughout the entire stay, maintaining abstinence from alcohol or other psychoactive substances that alter your mental or physical state during the experience.
This is not about judging personal choices or life stories. It is about compatibility with the environment we preserve and with the responsibility to coexist and work in a space that also hosts guests.
Tranquility is an essential rule at Viveiro. Conversations, meetings, laughter and coexistence are welcome, always respecting those around. Shouting, commotion, or any behavior that disturbs the silence, unsettles others, or alters the space's tranquility are not allowed.
Our acoustics are organic. No mechanical or electronic sound is permitted, such as JBL boxes, cellphone speakers, car audio or similar equipment. Music is welcome through organic instruments, voice or individual headphones.
We also follow the principle “Harmonize for the brother.” Used a space, leave it clean, organized and ready for the next person. No one should leave for the other the dirt, the mess or the consequence of what was used. Caring for the kitchen, tables, sofas, common areas and other structures is everyone's responsibility.
In volunteering, punctuality and keeping to the agreements also are part of coexistence. Activities are organized according to the campground's needs and some depend directly on the presence and guidance of the host. Therefore, schedule changes need to be arranged in advance.
Check-in
Volunteer check-in takes place exclusively from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon, and this schedule is non-negotiable.
It is essential to arrive during the day to get to know the facilities, understand how the campground works, receive the necessary guidance and make this first frequency alignment with the host. Therefore, we do not perform volunteer check-ins after five in the afternoon.
Visitors
It is not allowed to bring guests or visitors into the internal facilities of Camping Viveiro.
Access
Each volunteer receives a unique code to access the entrance gate. This code is personal and must not be shared with third parties.
Animals
Camping Viveiro is pet-friendly and accepts animals that accompany their owners, according to the accommodation rules.
In volunteering, however, it is not allowed to pick up, rescue or bring dogs, cats or any other animals found on the street or nearby into the campground.
Viveiro does not operate as a shelter and does not have facilities to accommodate rescued animals. Bringing an animal into the space must be a decision by Viveiro and never an individual initiative of the volunteer.
Viveiro limits its occupancy precisely to preserve quality, safety, tranquility and good coexistence.
If this way of living the experience does not fit your moment, that’s okay. There are other opportunities that may make more sense for you.
Here, before choosing the position, also choose the frequency.
