Volunteer videographer wanted to record content in podcast-style format in Medellín.
Two formats: podcast (on camera, conversation) and interview (guest + me or you and me).
You’ll need to bring your own high-quality camera (4K ideal, with a clean HDMI output or long internal recording).

This exchange involves helping me set up and record the format of my podcast about history and women who changed their era.
We will have a preliminary meeting of about 1 hour to define the concept, the style, the dates and the logistics.
Then we will work together for about 15 hours, counting the recording in:
- Set up the set with a green background, lights and microphones (I’ll provide them).
- Define framing and shots for two formats: podcast (me on camera) and interview (guest + me).
- Do camera, lighting and sound tests until a configuration is ready to repeat.
- Leave a simple guide for each format so I can record alone afterwards.
- We’ll try to record everything in one day to avoid having to set up everything.
The recording sessions will be in this way: the day after your arrival in Medellín.
IMPORTANT: If we do it in less time, you are free. You do not need to complete the 15 hrs.
You bring your camera (4K ideal, able to handle long recordings) and the material is uploaded to my Drive.
In exchange, you receive credit in the episodes and material for your portfolio.
About the stay
- Accommodation at Yellow House hostel, in a shared room (bottom bunk), in the La Floresta neighborhood, near the metro.
- Quiet and well-located area.
- Clean and comfortable hostel.

- Market for breakfasts and dinners: fruit, arepas, eggs, etc. Just tell me if you have dietary restrictions and I’ll send you the market.
- Possibility of sharing any outing if time allows.
- Pre-meeting (1 hour, can be via video call) to define concept, style, shots and dates.
- Day 1 AM (about two hours): set up the set with green background, lights and microphones; framing and tests of camera, lighting and sound for the two formats.
- Day 1 AM - PM (about 10 hours): recording of the episodes in podcast and interview format, without disassembling the set.
- Closing (1 hour): upload the material to my Drive and leave a simple guide for each format.
One additional hour for any updates.
There are no daily shifts. It is a punctual collaboration of about 15 hours in total, scheduled by calendar and concentrated on the second and third day of your stay (not negotiable). The rest of the week is free.
