I had a wonderful time volunteering in the kitchen of the host and also at the tour agency. Sith and Noy are kind, generous, peaceful hosts. Really good at keeping agreements, also flexible and fair. The environment is very nice and beautiful, lots of tourists come daily so it's also a great opportunity to make new friends. It can get really busy. I found El the host in Nong Khiaw by chance and was lucky to be accepted as a volunteer. I mainly supported with graphic design and helped with small tasks to improve logistics and the booking process. I also had time to work on my own projects, which was a big plus. Accommodation is comfortable, just 10 minutes away from the host. The food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. Sidh and Noy are wonderful hosts. Kind, attentive, and respectful.
