Program Details

You will join our local team in the mountain town of Abetifi in eastern Ghana, supporting education initiatives in nearby community schools. Volunteers assist teachers with lessons, reading practice, games and creative activities that help make learning engaging for students.

The program is designed to support existing teachers rather than replace them. Volunteers work alongside local staff and other international volunteers to create a positive learning environment for the children.

Outside of project time you will live in our volunteer house with participants from around the world. The town of Abetifi sits in the beautiful Kwahu mountains, offering a peaceful environment, welcoming community life and opportunities to explore local culture and nature.

Our team provides orientation, project guidance and ongoing support throughout your stay.
