Quirien was such a sweet, generous and warm-hearted person. She made me feel very welcome from the beginning. Owen was also very friendly, kind and easy to talk to. I also really enjoyed spending time with the animals and feeding them. The camping location was lovely, especially if you enjoy being surrounded by nature and want a peaceful place to stay. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I'm happy I got to be part of it.

I had an amazing time at this camp! The host and management are extremely welcoming and kind, and provide you with a very cosy tent and all things needed to have a great experience. Very kind people, beautiful spot and super cute animals. The tasks were doable and usually fun. I definitely recommend staying, and there is lots to do in the area.

My experience in the camping was great. The camping is really nice and customers are respectful. The island is amazing and you can move by bike easily to other shops and towns. I had a great time with Owen and Quirien, both of them made my time there being worth it. The hours carried out were as promised, just there were some days that I've done more hours than I was suposed to do.

Absolutely loved staying at the campsite and being welcomed like a family! I arrived and left at the same time as 2 other volunteers, and we became really close in our nearly 3 weeks together. Work at the campsite mainly involves caring for the several animals, reception during set hours, cleaning and a list of jobs throughout the day. While they are relatively easy, the large volume of tasks meant that days would end up being closer to 8-10 hours/ day, and would still be expected to do morning and night work on days off. Overall, loved volunteering and Owen + Quirien's support!

Great experience! They gave me a cozy glamping tent, and the campsite is only about 15 min by bike from beaches and supermarkets (they provide a bike). The work is fair, but some tasks require physical strength. I stayed 1.5 weeks and still had 2 days off. Everyone speaks English, which made everything easier. Owen was my supervisor and became a friend, and Quirien is awesome too. Highly recommend this experience!

I had a wonderful time volunteering at this mini campsite! My tasks included taking care of the animals, cleaning the sanitary facilities and common areas, welcoming guests, and helping build a beautiful willow branch entrance gate for the campsite.

The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with fun evenings together with campsite manager Owen & Lady. We even had a
company trip to the Efteling. There was also plenty of privacy and free time to truly enjoy nature and the peaceful surroundings.

I felt very welcome here and would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers!

My experience as a volunteer in the camping was overwhelmingly positive:) The place itself is well set up, especially the kitchen, which has everything you need to cook comfortably. What made it even better was the host, who was warm and welcoming from the start. The working hours were fair, and the tasks rotated among the volunteers I really recommend this experience to anyone who wants to connect with nature and enjoy calm surroundings. It is perfect for experiencing local life and visiting other villages on the island Thank you to Quirien&Owen for the experience !

This was my first experience in Worldpackers and it was a highlight for my trip around Europe. Here I had the chance to fully see the Dutch culture and I couldn't have done that without Quirien, my host. Her family and staff were kind and welcoming and I felt appreciated just for being there. I had everything I needed and our relationship was nothing like a job or even “just a volunteer” but people sharing an experience. Just a few hours a day of commitment for a very nice home.
