Program Details

Tierradentro is a rural space for conservation and environmental education. Our project aims to create a refuge for pollinators and biodiversity, where native bees, butterflies, moths, birds and many other species find food and habitat in restored landscapes.

We work on three main fronts:

- Conservation and ecological restoration with emphasis on pollinators.
- Environmental education through experiences, workshops, and nature events.
- Agroecological production, especially farm honey and coffee, which economically sustain the project.

Ideal profile
We are looking for a person who:
- Has training or knowledge in visual arts/plastics, graphic design, or is self-taught.
- Has creative ability, creating images through skills in digital illustration, mixed or traditional.
- Has interest in nature, science or biodiversity.
- Has aesthetic sensibility and naturalist curiosity.
- Can work in a collaborative and creative way.

We offer:
- Experience collaborating on a conservation project.
- Accommodation in a unique natural setting, surrounded by mountains and coffee plantations.
- Full meals provided.
- Cultural exchange and learning in bioconstruction, agriculture, meliponiculture and conservation.
- Possibility to participate in field activities such as visits to the apiary, butterfly monitoring, native bees, coffee cultivation, compost production, and vegetable gardening.
- A space for your creative ideas to have a real impact on conservation.
- Possibility to strengthen your professional portfolio.

A unique experience for those who seek to contribute with their hands, learn from rural life and live more in harmony with nature. We will be happy to welcome you, share, cook, and learn mutually!
