Amazing experience at the hostel! From the moment i arrived i was welcomed with open arms by Vale, Dani, Johny and the cutest dog in the world Pepe ❤️ the work was reasonable and was never too much. Once you got the work done you could have some food, make a coffee and just be a friendly face to guests. Gonna miss my time here

i loooved this hostel and the people there so much, Johnny, Vale and her husband, and Eri made me feel welcomed RIGHT AWAY with plenty of time for adventures and exploring the local markets and ocean. i got to play fútbol, go to the beach multiple times, ate great great food, and laughed my head off constantly!! much love to this place and i am very grateful for my experience here at this hostel in Arica ❤️ would definitely go back

Our Ti@s (their parents), Max, their 'Supersayan' son, Jhonny the Peruvian superhero, Gus, Kevin, the wonderful volunteers at Raymi House Hostel + Pepe—the sweetest dog ever—create a space full of love, joy and care.

The two weeks at the hostel I will remember fondly. Thanks to Vale, Dani, Jhonny, Pepe and the whole team for welcoming me and supporting me throughout my stay. The work isn't difficult; everything is explained in a very clear way, the schedules are respected. With any doubt there is always an answer and a solution - the communication within the team works impeccably. Also with the help of the guys from Illairy I had the opportunity to know the beauty of the North of Chile. I liked it!

One of the best volunteering experiences I've ever had! The schedules were always respected, the hosts are very welcoming and provide the ingredients for volunteers to cook as they wish. The location is excellent, and I was able to share a lot with other volunteers and some guests. It is much quieter being a hostel, which was exactly what I needed. Arica captivated me: the combination of beautiful beaches, sun, great weather, mobility and freedom, incredible people and many ancestral stories of the mummies made me sure I want to return. This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have found a better place than this. Okay, Gabriel and the whole team made me feel at home all the time and I was able to learn a lot about the place and the possibility of interacting with foreign tourists (who come to Arica a lot), it helped me a lot to improve my English. The hostel was a positive experience, due to its comfortable infrastructure, beautiful décor and also because of its very central location, a few blocks from the iconic Morro and beside the Sea Avenue. In addition, thanks to the weekly work planning, I could visit all the spots for surfing, which was the main reason for this little trip :). A big thank you to you and your support clan for the respectful treatment you have always shown me; it is a really lovely family business and you can feel your heart in every detail. I stayed two weeks, and I highly recommend this volunteering program 🫶🏻 Thanks Vale and Gabriel for having me. The schedules and the agreed tasks were met, as well as the meals, since there’s always something for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, thank you very much for that! They’re really nice people, the place is really beautiful, its beaches and its unique climate. I would come back a thousand times! 🥰
