I had an amazing and warm time with Frank! I was truly nervous, as it was my first experience, but from the first day together, I felt at home. We had a great schedule and the work itself was interesting and different almost each day. I learnt so much about Spanish culture and especially cuisine 🥰 We ate well and each evening with him and the other volunteer was warm and beautiful, as we talked a lot and had some kind of routine.
I will absolutely recommend going to Frank, helping him around his amazing house, explore, and meet three lovely dogs (and two cats, if they let you 😁)!

My partner and I stayed with Frank for a week and he was just the best host, and we all had the most excellent time together. The work is discussed ahead of time, and is only a couple of hours Monday-Friday which was a great schedule for us, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping Frank take care of his beautiful home. There is a bus near the house with convenient travel into the city, and you can enjoy the wonderful countryside surrounding the home. Frank is an excellent cook, and we really enjoyed being able to share meals with him and talk about life. I cannot recommend this experience more!!

Working and staying here was truly a wonderful experience! Frank is very knowledgeable and happy to guide you on the work he needs help with on the house. The tasks are clearly communicated and he works with what skills you already have or want to grow. He lives in a beautiful home in the relaxing Spanish countryside. I have fond memories of all the meals we shared together and the conversations we had. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in manual labor and get to know a kind and inspiring person.

Frank was generous, hospitable and friendly while hosting us, and went to the utmost lengths to make us feel comfortable.
This was apparent from the beginning of our stay, when through an oversight of ours the only bus connection got in to Zaragoza at midnight. Without scruple, he was prepared to collect us from the bus station. Throughout our stay, he was flexible (but not lax) with the time spent working, and even took us on a day trip to a gorgeous town in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
Moreover, we learnt so much from Frank: about local culture, philosophy, and his fascinating life.

An unforgettable experience! From the beginning Frank made me feel at home; the work was very diverse and fun. He was always willing to teach me new things, I learned new skills and had experiences with him that I probably would never have in life. The house is well located, with a single bus you’re already in the old town center of Zaragoza, there’s also a nearby river to cool off on hot days. I really enjoyed the experience and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers seeking new learning opportunities and experiences.

He has always been willing to help me and to teach me things with patience; the days we spent together flew by so fast and we had a lot of fun. Frank is truly a beautiful soul and I could not have hoped for a better person, not to mention his three adorable dogs!
