Program Details

🌱 The project
Volunteers mainly participate in the daily life of the farm, in activities related to permaculture, in caring for the animals but also in connection with our tourist activity (tasks to be defined depending on the level of French).

It is a wonderful opportunity to discover the principles of permaculture, to learn environmentally friendly practices, to experience a simple life near nature in a place welcoming to the public.

We always favor a spirit of sharing and exchange, where everyone can ask questions, learn and share their own experiences.

We are looking for people who already have experience in gardening or with animals.

Activities & Shift

🧑‍🌾 Examples of activities
Depending on the season and the needs of the farm, you will be able to participate in different tasks:

🐓 Animal care

Checking their well-being
Keeping the spaces clean and organized
🌾 Farm maintenance

Harvest organization
Small tasks related to farm life
All activities take place in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.

Rules

🌱 This immersion is addressed to a person who:

is interested in permaculture, autonomy
wants to learn by experience, in a real framework
is autonomous, reliable and capable of adapting
understands that they are joining an existing project, with its vision and its functioning

We are looking for motivated, curious volunteers who respect farm life and the environment. A positive attitude, the desire to learn and to participate in the daily life of the place are essential for the experience to be enjoyable for everyone.

Volunteering takes place in a spirit of exchange and cooperation. Volunteers are invited to respect our family times, the shared spaces, the animals, the clients who visit us, the tools and the nature around us. Good communication and respect for the farm's rhythm are also very important.

Rural life sometimes requires flexibility, as some activities may vary according to weather, the seasons and the needs of the animals or the garden. Outside of participation hours, volunteers will have free time to rest, explore the region and enjoy the calm and beauty of the surrounding nature. Volunteers must also be autonomous in their meals; we provide the basics of a healthy diet (dry goods, vegetables, meat sometimes, dairy products) but not everything that is "extra" (no chocolate, chips, etc.). We ask for flexibility.
