Program Details

After months of work, we’re at the stage where we could really use some extra hands to push the project forward. We’re looking for people who are not afraid of hard work and who enjoy rolling up their sleeves. Skills are very welcome (gardener, builder, all-round handyman), but more important is the right spirit: practical, flexible, and ready to get things done.
Depending on your skills and interests, you may help with some of the following practical projects around the farmhouse and garden:
- Restoring an old annex – cleaning and clearing the space, removing small internal walls to create an open multifunctional area, reopening windows, and clearing vegetation from the roof.
- Repairing fences – fixing and reinforcing sections of metal fencing around the property.
- Stone work – repairing or building small stone features, such as a low wall to contain soil and shape parts of the garden.
- Upcycling wood for outdoor furniture – reusing old wooden doors, beams, and pallets to build a large outdoor table, benches, or a simple seating area.
- Outdoor summer kitchen – transforming an old limonaia into a simple outdoor kitchen with BBQ where we can cook and eat outside in the summer.
- Outdoor bathroom – building a small external bathroom using reclaimed materials and old tiles.
- Electrical work – installing or repairing external lighting around the property.
- Creative projects – creating small art installations or sculptures in the garden. Creative ideas are always welcome.

Activities & Shift

This will be a shared experience. The work will be done mainly in the morning. Expect plenty of collaboration, good conversation, and hopefully the satisfaction of seeing things transformed day by day.

Rules

Lifestyle & House Rules
We live simply but are busy. We both work remotely and our son keeps us busy too. We enjoy good food and good company. We have only a few house rules help keep life smooth:
- Honesty and trust. Tell us what is good and bad.
- Respect shared spaces and keep things tidy. It's all brand new!
- No smoking inside the house.
- We appreciate open-minded, community-oriented people who are happy to share meals and stories.
- If you’re musical, artistic, or have other talents, bring them along — we love that!
