Pura Vida the guest house is a really relaxed place. The people there were really warm und nice. I was also able to do my open water and advanced open water course for a good price in exchange for my work there. I worked 4 days during the morning and 2 days in the afternoon. During the morning you clean the house, the dorms/the 2 studios. During the afternoon you do check-ins and creative work like painting walls/making boards for the diving center/gardening or anything else that you see that might be good for the place. The host appreciates initiative from you a lot.

My experice at the guest house was one of a kind! Working with Sofia and the other volunteer Lily was truly an amazing experience. The work is not hard and the tasks are well explained. I learned more about how to do check in and cleaning and i loved interacting with the guests. Come with true will of work and help and you will be absolutely satisfied by your stay! This is such a magical place with a lot of activities to do like surfing, hiking and diving. The volunteers place is really nice and practical. If you are looking for a nice place to volunteer in Sagres this is the place.

I had an amazing time at the guest house. I've made friends for life. Learnt a lot and it was an incredible experience. The shifts were reasonable 5 hours a day with a lot of downtime. Sadly it was winter so I couldn't explore too much but I'll be visiting again. Host is great super friendly, and so is the house manager :)

This place is relaxed and you feel like home. It is a place where you can free your inner art skills and also where you can da lot of water sports such as surf and diving. The work is fair and the shifts good organised. You have lot of free time for visiting around and enjoy your days. I had a beautiful time here with the guests and the staff made of laughts and heartful moments! Very recommended to everyone!

The whole experience is good, because there is not a lot of work so you have free time to enjoy different activities. Is a small town but there are plenty of people going to the beach, so it's nice. And the whole team of cleaninf, volunteers and dive instructors made the place really special Note that not everything posted of discounts and free activities is really offered on site so you might want to double check with the manager before going, and the good thing is the manager is easy to talk to in case anything changes during your stay

Daniel was a very helpful and friendly volunteer. He was always available for our guests and showed great responsibility in everything he did. His positive attitude and willingness to assist made a real difference during his stay. It was a pleasure having him with us.

My experience at Pura Vida was incredible. Everything happened exactly as we spoke about. Cristóvão (the owner) super friendly, with him you can chat and share experiences, an incredible person. Sofia (the manager) was fantastic. Always attentive to ensure you are comfortable and at ease in the hostel and outside of it. She is super friendly and loving. The tasks are easy and there is time to go to the beach or stroll around the surroundings. Sagres is beautiful and with a lot of peace. Pura Vida has been one of my best experiences. Also to add that it is the ideal place to improve your English and Portuguese.

I had my first experience as a volunteer and I liked it a lot, Pura Vida the guest house is an excellent place to meet and contribute in various ways to the traveler. Very well located in Sagres, near incredible beaches. I was very well received by Cristovão and the staff of the house, thus facilitating my arrival and stay during the days I stayed at the hostel.

Sin duda alguna este es el mejor lugar para hacer un voluntariado. La energía que tiene Pura vida es sumamente poderosa y te hace sentir como en casa. Cris esta siempre muy atento a como te sientes y que no te falte nada. Las horas son 100% respetadas, el dinero para la comida es más que suficiente y siempre es muy puntual el pago. El lugar para dormir es acogedor. Me voy de este lugar esperando volver algún día porque de verdad me lo llevo grabado en mi corazón. Muchas playas cerca, bares, restaurantes y transporte para poder ir a otros lugares. Si estás pensando en este lugar, no pienses más
