The experience

Are you interested in natural building?
Last spring, we embarked on an exciting journey: building a natural extension to our Irish home using cob and strawbale techniques.
We'll share all the hands-on knowledge we've gathered since last summer, plus a professional teacher will join us weekly to guide and inspire everyone. Our wish is for this experience to be nourishing for all that join in the process.

Program Details

We will start the day with a morning practice (meditation, mobility, taiji) followed by working at the house in the morning. We will eat all together, working again in the afternoon and relaxing in the evening. Sauna, sea swims and sitting around the fire with good food and the possibility to explore beautiful West Cork in the summer.

Activities & Shift

We will build walls of cob and straw: lifting buckets, pressing, kneading with hands and feet are just some of the activities we will do.
This is very physical work, but it is also very rewarding.
We will take turns in cooking and cleaning.
