The experience

Come and stay as a doctor/nurse for the Masai children in Ngorongoro Arusha. We at Bright Medium School teach 500 children and 200 of them live in the school. We don't have enough resources to give every child the health care they deserve. New ideas and vast knowledge about nursing is what we are searching for. A doctor or a nurse would really improve the lives of our children. We would also appreciate any specialized doctors.

Rules

A principle we follow is respect and trust. The culture in Masai villages can be very different from others, we expect an understanding for that difference.

Drinking and smoking should not be done around the kids.
We prefer you to be at home before sunset so if you were to need help we would be awake.
Tight fitting clothes, clothes above the knees, and showing shoulders is dawned upon in this culture. We would appreciate if you dressed modestly.

Overall we believe in inherent positive intent, organization of service, the power of teamwork, creativity and innovation.
