This was my first experience on the platform, and it was amazing! Neal and Marie are incredibly welcoming, and they made me feel at home throughout my stay.

The hotel is in a quiet village, the work is simple, and they always explain clearly what needs to be done.

When the work was done or on my days off, I often went to play football around here and visited some places by bike, bus, or train. I also stayed at the hotel, having good times, nice chats, and playing some guitar and piano.

Thank you very much! I leave with great memories and a lot of gratitude. It was an amazing experience!

Neal and Marie are very kind and make you feel very comfortable. Lending me a bike to visit the train station, zoo etc was amazing and made day trips so much easier. The hotel is in an extremely quiet village and the nearest restaurants are in the town which is about a half hour walk away, so make sure to bring snacks! With my one day off a week, I had a fabulous time exploring the region. The work consists of housekeeping and cleaning, starting at about 9/10 am and I was always finished before 2pm so had the option to go out in the afternoon, if it wasn't too hot! Thanks for the experience!

I stayed here for around three weeks and had a really nice experience. The hosts were welcoming and always checked if I was okay. The work was not difficult, and I was able to practise my English during my stay.

The cat is also very friendly and cute! The house is a bit far from the city, so it can take some time to get around, but if you enjoy a quiet environment, I would recommend this place.

My experience here was better than I could've imagined. Since the beginning I received clear information about how to get here and which trains were best. Mairie and Neal were super kind, always making sure I was doing fine and giving clear instructions on the tasks (that were super simple, however quite time consuming) which for me wasn't a problem. I had my own cozy room and bathroom too, which allowed me to have my private space. On my rest day, I had the chance to visit a nearby village by train and its famous Chateau by the river. It was amazing!

I had an amazing stay with Neal and Mary in France. As a first-time Worldpacker, they made me feel so welcome—it truly felt like a home away from home. Tasks were simple, communication was great, and Neal's pizzas were unreal! I'll definitely stay in touch and highly recommend them.

I spent a lovely two weeks here! The hours and work was fair and as outlined. It was easy to communicate with Marie about what was expected of me during my stay here. They had a bike that I was able to use whenever to get around and explore the surrounding area, which was greatly appreciated. I loved my relaxing time here.

This was a very positive volunteer experience, I would recommend it to any prospective traveler. The hosts were very accomodating and welcoming, and it didn't feel awkward. The meals provided were very decent, and they made sure to accomodate to allergies which was very nice. The working hours were very reasonable, and I had plenty of spare time to explore the surrounding countryside, which is very beautiful. The hosts provided a lot of information on navigating public transport and on the local attractions, which made it much easier. Their cat, Hey Hey is very cute and friendly.

It was an amazing experience! It was my first time volunteering through Worldpackers, and it couldn't have been better. The work was very easy and straightforward, and they respected all the hours and workdays. The food was good, and they always made sure to check if I liked what they were going to prepare. The hosts were always very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment. I had the chance to explore a bit of the city during my free afternoons and even visited the famous zoo.

I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Neil and Marie! Routine: serving breakfast, making beds and cleaning from 7:45 to around 12:00, it depends on how busy it is, but the hours are respected. What you get: cozy room and all meals. I recommend if you're looking for a chill place with great accommodation and easy work. Good to practice english, since the owners are english/chinese. Well located to visit castles. I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a sociable place, bc you work by yourself and the town is quiet. It might be difficult to work remotely because the internet is unstable.
