Program Details

Samana House is a design and calm refuge in the heart of Ollantaytambo. We seek volunteers to join our team to maintain the harmony of the space. The program is based on genuine hospitality: we are not only looking for technical help, but people who enjoy mountain life, who want to share a campfire with guests and who take care of the house's aesthetic details as if they were their own.

Activities & Shift

Main tasks include daily housekeeping (hotel-standard bed making, cleaning of common areas and bathrooms), support at the traveler reception and general assistance to ensure the guest experience is excellent.
Shifts: 25 hours per week (approx. 5 hours per day), with 2 days off to explore the Sacred Valley or travel to Machu Picchu. The schedule is usually in the morning to leave the afternoons free.

Rules

Respect and Coexistence: We aim to maintain a quiet and relaxed environment.
Proactivity: We value those who see what is missing without constant instructions.
Sustainability: Conscious care of water and energy in the house.
Fire safety: If you take charge of the nightly campfire, safety is the absolute priority.
Smoking is prohibited in bedrooms and enclosed spaces.
