The hostel was my first volunteer experience and could not have been better - no exaggeration. The hostesses welcomed me extremely well, I was completely welcomed and respected, in addition to having the privilege of really getting to know Salvador with residents who provided me with various experiences, so exciting that I cried with emotion. The volunteering activities were very well respected and peaceful, establishing the balance between work and life experiences, the hostel is recent but very well organized in all aspects. It was my first volunteer experience, and I was full of worries about not being what I expected (in a negative sense) and ending up feeling demotivated. However, the experience exceeded what I had expected in an incredibly positive way. I built a relationship of exchange, unity, friendship, and the strengthening of my skills and culture. What a wonderful environment, and I highly recommend it to everyone. There's only one problem: once you go, you never want to leave. Going back home was a sacrifice, haha. Thank you, May and Jess, for making this a healthy and pleasant environment for everyone.

I had to leave earlier than agreed because of work and I was upset, because the experience at the hostel was turning out to be amazing. The hosts Mayara and Jéssica are inspiring women and they are creating a super welcoming space full of good ideas. The hostel is great, well located and with a very pleasant atmosphere, I met travelers from various places and I even took a self-defense class. The volunteer work is fair and the hours, flexible. I admire the proposal of the hostel to host traveling women and I think they are on the right track!

My experience at the hostel was great! Jéssica and Mayara are amazing people and wonderful hosts. The space is new, it is being built and developing, but it already has energy and an incredible potential! Go, girls! I wish you all happiness and prosperity for you and for the hostel! I highly recommend volunteering and when I return to Salvador, I will come back to decorate more walls 🫶🏼✨

Mayara and Jéssica welcomed me very well! The hostel is just starting, so there are many things evolving. They accept improvement suggestions well. My only problem was with the schedule: I took the afternoon shift and couldn't enjoy the city as much as I wanted. But the girls were flexible with the timings and on days when it was possible I switched to the morning. The hostel is located in Rio Vermelho, a neighborhood with lively nightlife; for those who like it like me, you will really enjoy the parties that you can walk to! Also near the beach.

O hostel é enorme e muito próximo da orla, numa região cheia de coisas pra fazer! Jéssica e Mayara são mulheres incríveis, que trazem muita energia positiva pro o hostel! Busquei uma troca autêntica e fui recebido de braços abertos pelas duas! Além disso, elas conhecem tudo de Salvador e tão sempre chamando pros roles, por isso cola com elas! Um beijo pras meninas, que sonham coisas maravilhosas pro futuro do hostel, e um abraço pro querido Alexandre que dividiu quarto comigo! Quero voltar pra tomar uma caipirinha no futuro bar do terraço!

Tive uma experiência muito boa no the hostel. Apesar de não estar no meu melhor momento durante o período em que voluntariei, o que pode ter influenciado um pouco minha vivência, ainda assim foi uma troca muito especial. O projeto das meninas é lindo, bem organizado e cheio de propósito. Recomendo essa experiência a outros voluntários que buscam conexão, aprendizado e um ambiente acolhedor. Vale muito a pena conhecer esse cantinho especial no Rio Vermelho!

Foi um voluntariado bem tranquilo, as meninas são muito alto astral, me deram a oportunidade de cuidar de mídias pela primeira vez, foi uma experiência interessante, quem já for dessa área e curtir sair e festejar vai se dar muito bem, o hostel fica em uma ótima localização, perto de algumas praias e bares conhecidos. Nosso quarto é muito bom, com ar condicionado. Muito feliz de ter participado um pouco dessa conquista delas. Desejo muito sucesso
