Program Details

This program is centered around developing a self-sufficient and creative space through hands-on building projects, many of which involve eco-building techniques and natural materials. As a volunteer, you’ll be involved in constructing different elements of the property such as a clay pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, chicken house, mushroom greenhouse, propagation lab, and a solar shower. Depending on your experience and confidence, you may take responsibility for specific parts of a project or support others in ongoing builds.

I’m looking for people who are practical, proactive, and comfortable using basic tools. Experience in construction, carpentry, or DIY projects is highly valued, as some tasks require autonomy. However, I always offer guidance, support, and clear direction, and I’m happy to share knowledge and techniques whenever needed.

In exchange, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills, learn about eco-building, and work on meaningful and sustainable projects in a relaxed environment connected to nature. I encourage a collaborative and respectful atmosphere where everyone contributes and learns from each other.

This is a great fit for travelers who enjoy building, experimenting, and being part of a project from the ground up.

Activities & Shift

The schedule is usually around 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with flexibility depending on the weather and project needs. Work is generally done in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon.

As I’m not always on-site, volunteers should be comfortable working independently, but I provide clear instructions and guidance, and I’m always available to support and answer questions when needed.

There is plenty of free time to relax, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the peaceful environment.
