We are a vibrant hostel located in Ecuador, creating meaningful travel experiences for people from all over the world. At The Secret Garden, we believe in connection, creativity, and building something with intention.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us grow our online presence through website improvements, blogging, and digital content creation. This is a great opportunity for creative minds who enjoy storytelling, organizing ideas, and bringing projects to life.
You will be part of a small but dynamic team where your ideas are valued and where you can truly make an impact. This is not just a volunteering position — it’s a chance to create something meaningful and develop your skills in a real environment.
Your main tasks will include:
• Supporting updates and improvements on our website
• Writing blog posts about travel, experiences, and local insights
• Creating and organizing digital content
• Helping improve clarity and structure of online information
• Bringing creative ideas to enhance our online presence
Shifts are flexible but require responsibility and consistency. We expect around 4-5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
We are looking for proactive and responsible people who truly want to contribute.
• Strong communication and good English are required
• We value initiative — not just following instructions
• Attention to detail is very important
• Commitment to agreed schedules is expected
• This role is for people who enjoy creating, not just “passing time”
We appreciate positive energy, teamwork, and a genuine interest in building something together.
Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
