Program Details
Our volunteer program is designed to be simple, organized, and impactful, making it easy for you to settle in and feel part of the community from the very beginning.
Once your stay is confirmed, we will guide you with all the necessary information about arrival, including how to reach us from the airport. When you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed, shown your accommodation, and given an introduction to the project, the local area, and your daily activities.
A typical volunteer day usually starts in the morning at the school or project site. Volunteers assist with teaching basic subjects, helping children practice English, organizing games, and supporting creative activities like drawing, singing, and storytelling. You don’t need to be a professional teacher—your presence, energy, and willingness to help are what matter most.
The schedule is flexible and balanced. You will usually volunteer a few hours per day, leaving you with free time to relax, explore the local area, or connect with other volunteers. Weekends are normally free, giving you the opportunity to join safaris, visit nearby attractions, or take a trip to Zanzibar.
We often have other international volunteers, which creates a friendly and social environment where you can share experiences and learn from each other. Living conditions are simple but comfortable, and you will experience authentic local life.
Throughout your stay, we are always available to support you—whether you need help with your tasks, have questions, or want to plan activities. Our goal is to ensure you feel safe, comfortable, and truly part of something meaningful.
This program is not just about volunteering—it’s about cultural exchange, connection, and creating lasting memories while making a positive difference in the lives.
